Aldaris Zelta Premium Lager

A beer from Latvia! First one I have ever tried.
A clear amber coloured beer, perhaps a shade or two darker than Canadian mainstream lagers.
Full rocky white head which reduces quickly and leaves a very thin and broken cap.
Lots of carbonation.
The aroma is pure Euro-Lager. Some very faint grassy malt aromas and just a hint of the floral, herbal hops.
The feel is relatively full which is a nice change, the taste is very smooth and actually exists! Some lightly sweet malt tastes, sugar, biscuits and fresh hay. The bitterness is much more floral than citrus and is fairly mild but at least it is present. A touch drying on the finish and very easy to drink.
Not too bad at all. Not outstanding, but easily drinkable and with no bad habits at all.
