Pomegranate Wheat Beer

The instant you pour it you can smell raspberry and pomegranate.
The head is thin and white but lasts fairly well, the beer itself is an orange/amber colour.
As I said, the aroma is overwhelmingly berry, Hints of grapefruit and pine come through below the raspberry and pomegranate smells.
Feel is only moderately full, a bit too watery but then many wheat beers feel like this.
Tastes are interesting, the berry taste is not as "In your Face" as the aroma leads you to believe, the are certainly there but the wheat dough tastes are also prominent as is a distinct mouth drying bitterness like you get from cranberries.
Hint's of grapefruit and pine also come through and last well into the finish.
This is a summertime beer, I am tasting it way to late in the year on a rather cold and nasty day here but I can imagine having a few of these on the patio while grilling some supper. I think it would be a treat.

Pomegranate Wheat Beer

Pinkish red in color with a short lived but thick white head.
Aroma is berries. Some raspberry, strawberry and of course pomegranate. Smells very nice indeed.
Medium mouth feel toward the watery side. Not unexpected for a wheat beer though.
Sweet to start with the flavors of berries and a citrus finish with a pleasant tingle on the tongue. I like it, but I would rather have it on a nice warm day, not in the middle of fall.

(Thanks, but I'd rather drink one.)
