BEER is GOOD!

Amsterdam Brewing - Spring Bock
Amsterdam Brewing - Spring Bock
Pours a very dark red/black with a full and fine textured tan coloured head.
Aroma of coffee, chocolate and hints of pine and citrus.
Feel is very full, rich and creamy.
Tastes are quite complex and well blended. Roasted coffee and chocolate, whole grain toast, some faint berry citrus tastes.
The chocolate lingers in the aftertaste but it is lightened by the berry citrus flavours making this a very nice tasting beer. The alcohol can occasionally be noticed, more as a burn than a flavour and the tingle on the tongue cleans your mouth nicely making this far more refreshing than I would have expected.
A very good beer.

Amsterdam Brewing - Spring Bock
Dark reddish brown with a tan head.
Earthy aroma with some chocolate.
Full, rich, creamy mouth feel.
First tastes are coffee and burnt dark chocolate. Quite bitter to my tastes. The alcohol lurks in the background. It has a nice drying finish which rates it one more star. Other than that I am not impressed.
