Amsterdam Natural Blonde Lager

Citrus, honey and earthy nose.
Golden color with no head to speak of.
First taste is of apricots and citrus. Creamy mouth feel. Nice citrus tingle like finish.
This would go great with scallops and would definitely enhance a beer batter for fish.

Amsterdam Natural Blonde Lager

Pours very clear yellow with almost no head and no lacing.
Aroma is faint, some dough and hard water aromas.
Feel is medium, not watery but not very full either.
Taste shows some malt notes, hints of dough and syrup with a faint floral and grassy hop finish.
Not much to this one but an easy drinking patio beer. A bit more taste than most mainstreams but only a bit.

Beer Quote of the day

As to the way of life of the English, they are somewhat impolite, for they belch at the table without shame. They consume great quantities of beer.
