Amsterdam Nut Brown Ale
Amsterdam Nut Brown Ale
Pours almost black with a tan colored head which is short lived.
Aroma is almost all chocolate and coffee with a hint of citrus.
Medium mouth feel. Maybe just a tad on the watery side, but pleasant none the less.
Chocolate and coffee are predominant, just like the aroma, with a sparkly citrus finish.
I quite like this brew.

Amsterdam Nut Brown Ale
A very dark almost black coloured beer with a full rich tan coloured head.
The aroma almost reminds me of "Coca-Cola". Some sweetness and a lot of carbonation.
Feel is nicely rich and creamy like a stout.
Tastes are bitter chocolate and coffee with a citrus finish. Not bad at all.
The roasted malts and barley are the predominant tastes here with a sweetness sitting down below them. The citrus finish and strong carbonation give a light finish and a noticeable tingle onthe tongue.
For such a heavy looking beer it is surprisingly light in the finish with a clean, refreshing and lasting aftertaste which makes it easy to drink more.
I like this one.
