Anchor Steam Beer

Pours a light copper color with a thick head that leaves clumps of froth behind.
Aroma is a malty caramel and banana blend that is quite pleasing.
Starts out sweet and malty with a hint of citrus and a great hop finish that really blends everything together nicely.
I'm glad I bought a six pack of this beer. It's a real shame that we won't be getting anymore of this after the New Year.

Anchor Steam Beer

A thick white head which leaves a lot of lace on an amber coloured beer.
The aroma is subdued, a bit flowery and honey sweet.
Feel is nicely creamy and coats the mouth.
There are quite noticeable caramel tastes, some flowers, some earth, hints of mild citrus with biscuit, toast and light honey flavours.
The finish is a bright, clean, hoppy bitterness.

All in all, a very pleasant beer and one I would drink anytime. It is good but not on my alltime favourite list.

Anchor Steam Beer

Thick off white head and a lasting lace.
Flower and citrus are the main aromas of this beer with a hint of earthiness.
Creamy with some bread, citrus and mother earth as well as some honey sweetness flavor this beer.
Well balanced as to hops and malt so it has a crisp clean finish.
Calls for another beer. I like it.

Beer Quote of the day

Bart: "Can I get you a beer, Dad?" Lisa: "No, I want to get him a beer!"
Homer: "Kids, kids. You can BOTH get me a beer."

(My kind of family, but I want at least a dozen kids!)
