BEER is GOOD!
About Bruce Ticknor
Antigravity Light Ale
Antigravity Light Ale
A fairly rocky and short lived white head on a golden coloured beer.
The aroma is fairly subdued but there are notes of earth, citrus and maple tree sap.
A lightly carbonated beer.
The feel is much fuller than I expected, a nice moderately rich feel.
The tastes are much more pronounced than I would expect from a light ale. An earthy sweetness leads the way but there are enough hops in here to keep the flavour bright. Some citrus and light nutty tastes fill things out nicely. So many light beers sacrifice taste to keep the alcohol down. The flavours here don't jump on you but they do provide an easy drinking but flavorful beer. A great brew for an afternoon sipping on the patio.

Pours light amber with a white head that dissipates quite quickly.
Citrus, hop and earth aroma. Very pleasant made my mouth water.
Citrus start with a sparking carbonation. Creamy middle with a sparkling citrus finish.
This is quite refreshing. It's worth buying just for the quotes under the beer caps and the bottom of the six pack.
I would have given it 5 stars if it was 5% but after all it's a light beer. I have never been a fan of light beers because they are too watery and flavorless. This isn't.
We are strong supporters of Ontario Craft Brewers. Ask for them at your local LCBO in Ontario or better yet, visit one or all of their breweries. You will be glad you did.
