Badger Brewing - Golden Champion
Pours a clear dark gold colour with a thick and lasting white head.
Aroma is sweet, a bit earthy with some fairly strong pine notes.
Feel is quite full and creamy.
Taste is very nice, First hit is a light bitterness with strong floral notes and a touch of an almost apricot flavour, the brewery claims this is a tangerine taste but it seems more like apricot to me.
A solid bready malt base with some sweet honey flavours.
The apricot (or tangerine) flavour lingers and the dry floral; bitterness stays on your tongue for a while.
A bright and easy to drink summer beer. I like it a lot, think I will try to grab a few more while they last.
