BEER is GOOD!
About Bruce Ticknor
Belle Gueule
Belle Gueule
A medium sized white and lasting head on a clear light copper coloured brew.
The aroma of malt is quite noticeable which is a bit unusual in a lager style beer. Some earthy hop aromas come through if you try hard enough.
The feel is quite creamy and not at all watery.
Taste is sweet, white sugar with some earthy, almost moldy, hop tastes. There are some faint light citrus notes and a dry bitter finish.
The aftertaste is quite dry. The profile is largely mouth drying hops in the finish but a few of the sweet malt tastes linger in the background.
Not bad, a lot better than most mainstreams and would probably make a great BBQ beer, at least for the cook.

Belle Gueule
Burnished copper in color with a clumpy white head.
Aroma is beer. Malt and hops.
Very creamy mouth feel.
Citrus, earth and a sugar sweetness are right up front and it stays to the last.
Not bad, but not great.
