Black Currant Mead
No head at all, the colour is pinkish with orange tints.
The aroma is quite strongly of berry and a citrus tang.
Taste is quite citrusy with lots of berry and a light bitter aftertaste, reminds me more of a wine than a beer.
There is a nice berry and citrus tingle lingering on the tongue and a bit of a drying tannin feel comes through in the aftertaste.
A very pleasant drink. I am no expert on meads but I like this and I think I will try some more.
