Black Ice Strong Beer
Very light amber with a thick clumpy head and lots of carbonation bubbles.
Aroma is almost non-existent with just a hint of malt and a touch of citrus from the hops.
Quite a citrus hop taste which surprised me as I thought it would just be fizzy water with alcohol in it.
It has a medium mouth feel and just leaves enough of a coating in the mouth to be pleasant.
What surprised me the most is the fact that the alcohol doesn't over power.
Not too bad for a main stream.
This beer review is dedicated to the Late Ed Travis aka Blkice as He was know to those who play NTN trivia in bars. Ed left us for a higher plane in late March due to complications from pneumonia. Black Ice was his favorite beer. Ed you will be missed.
