Black Oak Brewing Pale Ale
A full, slightly off-white, long lasting head on a deep amber coloured, clear beer.
With an aroma of citrus, spice, and floral hops the feel is thick, creamy and rich.
The taste is floral with a deep, pleasing bitterness. There is a bit of berry and citrus with a hint of spice making a very full flavoured pale ale.
The finish is quite bitter and pleasing and the aftertaste is a sparkling berry/citrus blend with a touch of roasted malt.
In my mind, this beer is a winner and a good example of an Ontario pale ale style.
I will be buying this one again often.

Black Oak Brewing Pale Ale
A gold heavily carbonated beer with a thin white head and strong lace.
Citrus, berry and spice are the main aromas.
A full flavored beer with complexity that is very pleasing. Citrus, berry and hopped spice are the main tastes. It finishes nicely with a slight hop bitterness that asks for another.
This is very nice. I like it a lot.
