BEER is GOOD!
About Bruce Ticknor
Blueberry Mead
Blueberry Mead
A distinct blue coloured liquid with virtually no head.
There are carbonation bubbles like you would find in a ginger ale or champaign, they burst at the surface and can tickle.
There is very little aroma, a hint of a sour aroma and perhaps just a touch of blueberry but not much.
The feel is relatively rich and a bit creamy.
Taste is mostly alcohol, quite a burn. Some honey and sour berry tastes but they are pretty much buried by the alcohol.
The finish is also alcohol, almost like a shot of vodka.
Certainly not an everyday beverage, but it does make a nice change and it is certainly not hard to drink.

Blueberry Mead
Pours a bluish green with no head but a huge amount of carbonation bubbles. I think it's still building alcohol in the bottle.
Aroma is all alcohol. I think I held on to it for too long.
Wow! I can't taste anything but the alcohol with a touch of fruity sweetness.
I still think this is a nice change from all the hops and malts I've been drinking, not that there is anything wrong with that. I'm enjoying this one, with the emphasis on ONE!
