Pours very dark, almost black with a full and creamy tan coloured head. The head is lasting very well and leaves a nice lace n the glass.
Aroma of coffee and chocolate, quite pronounced with faint hints of some kind of citrus.
Feel is very full and creamy.
Taste is a lively chocolate with touches of vanilla off the top, flavours of coffee and toast come through next with a light and very clean citrus finish.
This is a great porter, The taste is very full and rich but the finish is so light and clean that you could easily make this a session beer. The low alcohol content contributes to it's 'sessionability' as well. The whole thing just goes together nicely and really works for me. One of my favourite porters from now on.
