Brakspear Oxford Gold
A very nice orange and amber colour, the head is bright white, it disappears quickly leaving a clumpy thin cover.
The aroma from this brew is fairly faint at first, it gets a bit more pronounced with time. There is some honey, biscuit and a fairly sharp citrus tang.
Feel is fairly round and full, no watery sense from this beer.
Taste shows quite a bit of citrus but is not overbearing. There is some nice biscuit and honey undertones.
The citrus is moderately grapefruit like and fairly smooth.
Not a bad session beer, very drinkable and not overpowering. The tastes are all a bit subdued and it could maybe use a hit of something to make it stand out a bit more.

Dark amber in color. Perhaps my glass was too cold because the head dissipated very quickly but the lace is very strong.
The aroma is quite citrus like with a hint of earth and just a touch of honey.
Quite a citrus bite at the start with a full and creamy mouth feel.
As it warms the citrus is more pronounced with a nice hit of hops in the finish.
I like this beer.

A cloudy dark yellow beer. The white head mostly disappeared. There were a couple of clumps left and a ring around the top of the beer.
The aroma was mostly like grapefruit.
I like the taste. There is some sweetness like honey or maybe brown sugar but mostly it is grapefruit.
It dries my mouth out a bit after I swallow, and it really does remind me of the way a grapefruit dries your mouth.
I think I will look for some more of this. It would be nice on a hot day with a BBQ.
