Brasseurs de Montreal - Coeur Brise

Pours clear, dark golden with a pink tint, a thick white head which disappeared instantly.
Aroma of raspberry and dough, Thats about all I can pick out.
Feel is quite full and creamy.
Taste starts with a bright raspberry flavour and lots of fruit acidity. There is a solid doughy malt holding this up and the finish is a nice blend of the lingering berry taste with a sweet and solid bready malt base.
The nice thing about this beer is that the raspberry doesn't completely overwhelm all other flavours.
A good patio beer for this time of year, bright enough to be very refreshing and still a solid beer taste.

Beer Quote of the day

People who drink light 'beer' don't like the taste of beer; they just like to pee alot.
