Brasseurs & Frères - La Récompense

Pours a clear golden colour with a huge, rocky, off-white head.
Faint aroma of fruit (apples and pears) with a touch of spice
Feel is nice and creamy, quite full textured.
Taste are definitely English Bitter, pronounced roasted malt and toasted grain with light fruits and a distinct but mild earthiness. A light dry and flowery bitter finish makes you want more.
It's interesting to look at this beer in the glass, clumps of lace hang on the sides and steady streams of bubbles climb around the glass and up from the middle, almost as much fun to watch as it is to drink.
