Breugel Amber Ale
A thin, white, rocky head with a lot of lace on an amber coloured ale.
The aroma is of berry and spice (cloves) while the feel is very creamy and full.
Tastes are slightly sour with biscuit, honey, grass and a hint of cloves on an earthy base. The sour earthiness lingers on in the mouth.
This is a fairly light tasting beer and I found it much more like a British Mild than an Abbey style brew. It is, however, very drinkable and makes me think of a spring beer rather than the winter ale I was expecting.
On a cold November day that is not all together a bad thing.
