Brussels White - Flavoured Beer

A thick full white head on cloudy pale yellow beer.
The aroma is of orange citrus and flowers with a hint of coriander.
Taste is orange, tart and sparkling with some honey, a bit of vanilla and a hint of coriander.
The finish is a bit on the sour side and I could find a hint of earth in the finish.
As wheat beers go this is not on the top of my list. Not bad but there are many better ones available.

Brussels White

Wonderful fizzy white head. Pale gold in color and very cloudy which is typical of a wheat beer.
Not much of an aroma but there is a hint of orange.
I like this very much and it's very refreshing after painting for most of the afternoon and then having to run to the grocery store and starting dinner and then washing the paint of the floor. It was nice to sit down with a beer while dinner was cooking. I was thirsty and downed this beer before writing it up.
I get a very subtle taste of hops followed by the tang of oranges. It quenched my thirst and tasted good at the same time.

Beer Quote of the day

You can do anything with beer that you can do with wine. Beer is great for basting or marinating meat and fish.
