BEER is GOOD!

Bud Light Lime
Bud Light Lime
I dread this, it is all the rage right now among Ontario's kiddie swillers. (by this I mean Barely Legals).
I felt I had to do it so here we go, Deep breath and pour.
Very pale yellow. Thick white head which disappears instantly leaving nothing.
The lime aroma is apparent even as you pour. The aroma is of 7-up. The lemon-lime aroma is all that I can get.
Feel has some body to it. Not quite watery but not very full either.
Taste is pure 7-up. Might as well not even be a beer for all the flavour this has. Lime is prominent with a hint of sweetness to keep the lime under control. There is a lot of dead cardboard flavour in here and a nasty dead and dry finish which does nothing for the experience.
I first heard about this one about a month ago when an employee at the LCBO said he was giving up his regular beer and switching to this. I asked him what his regular was and he said "Corona". I decided not to bother with the Bud version of Corona. I kept hearing people talk about it so today I gave in and tried it.
Wish I hadn't bothered.
I could have bought some "Sprite" or "7-up" for less money and enjoyed it just as much.
I learned a lesson today.
Avoid at all costs and stay away from early 20's drinkers until they wise up.

Bud Light Lime
Pale amber with almost no head.
Aroma is a cross between 7-up and Fresca.
Medium mouth feel.
Taste is all about the lime with some citrus thrown in. This is pounding hooch for the younger set.
This is an email I found when I got up yesterday:
"I put 3 beers in your fridge.
Didn't hear any movement so I just snuck in and out. They are the new fad beer".
I definitely have to get my wife to lock the door when She goes out and I'm asleep!!!!
