The Celt Experience - Golden Ale
Pours a clear golden colour with a thin white head.
Aroma is faint, Hints of citrus and earth is about all I can find.
Feel is quite full and creamy.
Tastes start with a noticeable doughy malt flavour but are quickly overlaid with a nice light grapefruit and floral hop taste. Hints of pine,earth and pepper linger.
There is a good solid bready and sweet malt base and a healthy dose of bitter from the hops to balance the whole thing.
It's definitely a British style pale ale but it is a nicely hopped version which appeals to my North American taste buds.
I could make this a session beer with no problem at all.
