Christoffel Bier (Blonde)

Citrus, earth and fruit aroma.
Cloudy amber with a huge foamy head that looks like an ice cream cone.
First hit, and I mean hit, is of citrus and hops. Creaminess on the tongue and mouth with a bitter orange finish. Very, very good beer.

Christoffel Bier (Blonde)

A white, full, rocky and lasting head on a cloudy dark yellow beer.
The aroma is strongly of earth, mould, and an astringent bitterness.

A full creamy feel and bright sparkling tastes with some honey and earth before a strong bitterness kicks in. There is a grapefruit bitterness along the sides and back of the tongue which lingers and some flower tastes and even a hint of candy sweetness could be found.

The grapefruit taste of the hops predominates and is quite memorable. This is a great hot weather beer with a nice blend of tastes below the hops.

Beer Quote of the day

Black music has become a commercial commodity. Live performances are not so accessible as they were previously. It use to be possible to go to the bar on the corner and hear music.

— Archie Shepp

(Bring back the fifteen cent beer I say!)
