Church-Key Brown Ale

A decent sized tan coloured head which leaves a lot of lace on a dark, Coca-Cola brown beer.
The aroma is mostly on the malt side of things, a hint of citrus comes through but it is faint.
The taste is full of roasted malt with lots of coffee and chocolate tastes. A bit of honey sweetness.
It finishes with a nice, bright grapefruit citrus tingle, making for a very bright clean finish that makes me want another mouthful.
This beer has a great solid English style malt base with lot's of roasted malt and enough citrus hops to finish it off nicely. A great session beer thanks to the clean finish.
I wish I lived closer to the brewery.

Church-Key Brown Ale

Pours very black with a tan head and a strong lace.
Sour brewery like aroma with citrus just behind.
Full creamy mouthfeel.
Starts with a honey sweetness followed by a citrus bite.
Just a little too bitter in the finish for me.
