Church-Key West Coast Pale Ale

Copper color with an off white head.
Sour aroma with a hint of citrus.
Full creamy mouth feel.
Starts off with a bit of molasses like sweetness followed quickly by a citrus nip. Finishes with a semi-bitter citrus hop finish. As it warms the flavor is pure hopped grapefruit.
Far too sharp a finish for me!

Church-Key West Coast Pale Ale

A medium white head which lasts for a long while on a copper coloured ale. There are lots of slowly rising carbonation bubbles in this beer. Very entertaining.
The aroma is quite malty and sour with a hint of citrus in the background.
Feel is very rich and quite creamy.
The tastes are fairly typical for an American style pale ale. A good solid sweet malt base with lots of grapefruit citrus hops on top.
The bitter citrus tastes linger a long while after you swallow and are very refreshing.
This seems to me to be a great warm weather beer.

Beer Quote of the day

I like beer. On occasion, I will even drink beer to celebrate a major event such as the fall of communism or the fact that the refrigerator is still working.
