Cool Beer Blonde Lager

White head on a lager colored beer.
Not much aroma.
It is fairly creamy. That is one of it's strong points.
The flavor is mostly a hop tingle. Not much else. A step up from any old mass lager.

Cool Beer Blonde Lager

Pours amber with a white head.
Very slight floral, citrus aroma.
A very good imitation of the big guys beers. It has a citrus undertone and since it's all natural ingredients you can't really go wrong. The price is not bad either.

Cool Beer Blonde Lager

A medium sized white head on a clear beer coloured beer. What else can I say, it looks like any mainstream North American lager.
Aroma shows a bit more promise with some earthiness apparent. Not much else I could find.
Taste shows it's malt base quite nicely. This is where the beer comes into it's own. A good bready malt taste with hay and grass flavours coming through.
This pulls it way above the mainstream stuff and makes it quite enjoyable.
The malt really predominates in this beer and some honey and brown sugar flavours are probably what is most remembered but there are some flowery and lightly citrus hops in there which balance the sweetness nicely.
The earthy, hay and grass tastes stand out.

Beer Quote of the day

Paul Newman's an old friend of ours out of Cleveland, Ohio. He used to sit around our house. He's the only man I've ever known to drink a case of beer all by himself. That's talent in a way.
