I should never have taken this off the shelf. No head on a very light amber colored brew with lots of lace and there is where it ends.
Clear bottle = skunked. Behind the skunk, (which is not a good place to be), is just a hint of something. It might be a bit of citrus or not.
Mouthfeel is quite creamy if you can get by the taste.
My word! If you're going to spend all that money to have a custom label put on a beer you're better off spending less and put just a plain label on a dark colored bottle. As the Kingston Trio said way back when: 'When will they ever learn."

Skunked.
I tried to protect it on my way home from the LCBO but to no avail.
I smelled skunk the instant I popped the cap.
Too bad because I think I can detect some interesting tastes in there.
Damn clear bottles.
I can only blame the brewer for using them.

Did you manage to get an un-skunked bottle?
If so, what did it taste like?
Everyone else I know found skunked beer in a clear bottle.

I only tried it the one time. You'd think that a company would try harder to keep their customers happy.
I also wont be buying this again, no sense taking a chance on another skunked beer, and since they package them in clear bottles the odds of getting another skunked batch are pretty strong.

I've tried stonewall and it is either hit or miss. When its good, its good but I've had cloudy beer, skunked beer and sometimes it just tastes odd... almost too sweet.
I contacted the company to let them know and I got a response from Roula Doikas (from Finance) but he just told me to go back to the LBCO and get an exchange for the remaining beers - nothing for the sub-standard beer. So disappointing that was the response from them. I did return the remaining beers and purchased another brand of beer instead.... its not like there is a shortage of beers to choose from and I don't want to risk bad beer again. I won't purchase Stonewall ever again.
