Pours a very pale and lightly cloudy yellow with a huge and lasting bright white head.
Aroma of coriander, some light floral notes and a hint of honey.
Feel is nicely full and creamy.
Tastes are all quite mild and well blended, tastes of coriander and orange peel, a light doughy base with a light touch of banana. Hard water flavours (iron and calcium) and a faint floral and citrus finish.
Very nice and light, all the flavours are well blended and don't try to scream out for your attention.
The label says that this beer is especially blended to "pair with foods" and I think it would probably go well with many fairly mild flavoured foods, anything spicy or strong tasting would overpower this easily.
Still and all, a nice enjoyable beer.

Pours a slightly cloudy dark amber colour with a huge, creamy, off-white head.
Aroma of grapefruit, brown sugar, pine sap and earth.

Feel is full, rich and creamy.
Taste is hop forward, lot's of grapefruit and pine to start. A hint of sour and a lot of doughy sweetness in the middle. Touches of grass and hay come through along with a light earthiness.
The finish lingers well and is a combination of the bright citrus tastes with a brown sugar sweetness coating the mouth. The sweetness and rich body of the beer gives your lips a light sugar coating, a bit sticky.
I could drink this all day long. A really good American style IPA. Not quite as hoppy as a "Mad Tom" but damn good.

Just tried this last night... thoughts are that it was a lot of late hops. Much smoother than most IPAs not such a harsh bitterness, more of a hop flavor. Tastes like the hops smell.

Beer Quote of the day

For drink, there was beer which was very strong when not mingled with water, but was agreeable to those who were used to it.
