Damm Brewing Estrella Inedit

Pale very yellow head with lots of heavy lace when the thick head finally goes away. Not really a clear beer but not quite a cloudy beer either.
Spicy aroma with some earth and honey.
Rich, full and creamy mouth feel.
This one is hard to describe. It almost has a perfume like taste but not in a bad way. It's sweet and sour but it has a very nice citrus finish which is a thing I really enjoy.
Quite complex tastes. I like it.
What has me confused is the star on the label. Franco was a fascist but the star to me denotes the reign of Stalin and the boys.

Dominus Vobiscum - Lupulus
Light gold with one huge head. Slight carbonation. Flecks of foam all over the inside of the glass.
Slight citrus aroma and some spice.
Mouth feel is rich and creamy.
The alcohol is not noticeable in the taste but it burns slightly going down.
It starts with a citrus acidity and then mellows out when the sweetness of the honey and sugar click in.
This is good stuff, but one will suffice.
If they aren't all gone I'll be grabbing some more of this. I do so love a strong beer.

Beer Quote of the day

I simply went down there to catch up with an old mate of mine, who owns the place. He's the one who wrote the book on the place, but no, no movie, just a beer.

— Bryan Brown

A great Aussie actor and beer. That says it all.
