Malty, aromatic beers. Belgian ales rank high on my list.

Gold color with a thin, quickly disappearing head.
Aroma is a hint of berries, wood and alcohol.
It starts with a hop and alcohol hit and has a pleasant creamy mouth feel but it finishes with an overbearing alcohol flavor.
This is just a strong fairly flavorless brew.

Christoffel Dry Hopped Nobel
Very cloudy pale orange color with a thick white clumpy head that lasts and lasts.
Aroma is citrus, some berries and earth with a bit of sourness.
Very rich creamy mouth feel.
Instant grapefruit hit followed by some earthiness and a hint of banana and some orange pith bitterness. As it warms it gains in complexity. The grapefruit is still there but now I'm getting some more earth and a kind of clover honey aftertaste. The finish is a definite hop dryness that just begs for more.
Excellent brew this.

Much better than 2 stars.
I found this to be a much better beer than you did.
The tastes were subtle, I admit, but there were a lot of different tastes in this beer.
The alcohol did tend to dominate but some of the apple flavours that came through were very nice.
I really enjoyed it and have a few more to sip on with a pork dinner sometime.
