Elora Grand Lager

A thick white, short lived head on a slightly dark yellow beer.
A mild aroma of citrus, grass, earth and honey and a very full creamy feel.
The tastes are quite bright and clean with flavours of citrus and grass to start. Some biscuit and honey come through in the middle and these become more pronounced as the beer warms a bit.
The finish is bright, crisp and clean with a citrus tingle and some lingering earthiness.

A very nice lager with a lot more taste than the mainstream junk.

Golden amber pour with no head or lace.
Very slight fruit and floral aroma.
Slight fruit flavor but not much else. Carbonation is missing. Maybe I got a bad bottle of their beer. I'm not impressed. This may as well be from the big breweries. I hope I got a bad bottle!

We are strong supporters of Ontario Craft Brewers. Ask for them at your local LCBO in Ontario or better yet, visit one or all of their breweries. You will be glad you did.

Beer Quote of the day

Why is American beer served cold? So you can tell it from urine.

(Not true anymore, thankfully.)
