Elora Irish Ale

Pours a coffee color with a hint of red. Head is off white that lasts.
Aroma is of chocolate and cloves with a nice creamy feel on the tongue.
Middle is citrus and chocolate with a sweet citrus finish.
Nice size bottle, (650 ml., 1 U.S. pint), for a very decent price.
This is a very good beer.

We are strong supporters of Ontario Craft Brewers. Ask for them at your local LCBO in Ontario or better yet, visit one or all of their breweries. You will be glad you did.

Elora Irish Ale

A fairly thin, short lived tan head on a dark copper/red coloured beer.
The aroma is of chocolate, roasted coffee and a hint of vanilla. It becomes more pronounced as the beer warms a bit.
Very full, pleasantly creamy feel.
Tastes of roasted malt (coffee and chocolate) come through first, followed by citrus, berries and bread dough. As it warms I found a hint of licorice, and the berries began to taste like black berries.
All this leaves a nice aftertaste of roasted malt with long lasting citrus and berry flavours.
This is a very nice stout, it is the kind of beer which tastes better after warming slightly.

I intend to buy this one again often.
