BEER is GOOD!
About Bruce Ticknor
Elora Special Bitter
Elora Special Bitter
Thick, rocky, lasting white head on a dark copper coloured beer.
Grapefruit, grassy hop aroma with some woodsy earth hints.
Quite a creamy feel.
A lovely bitter hit with some caramel in the background, a nice grapefruit citrus tingle in the front and laying over top.
I didn't feel that the caramel taste belonged, but found it quite refreshing anyway.
The grapefruit citrus tastes linger but the annoying caramel taste persists in the background.
It is better if quite cold, the caramel is more subdued.

Elora Special Bitter
Pours a coffee color with no head to speak of. Lace however is strong and long lasting.
Very thin chocolate aroma with an underlying coffee aroma.
Heavy bodied with citrus and fruit flavors to start and an acidic fruit and hop finish. This would be good with a nice sweet desert.
Not as good as most of the Trafalgar's in my opinion but I like malty brews.
