BEER is GOOD!
About Bruce Ticknor
Erdinger Weisbier Dunkel
Erdinger Weisbier Dunkel
A very thick, rich, creamy looking off white head. The beer is very dark, cloudy against the light, almost black with red tints.
The aroma is very faint, I could find a hint of berry and some earth. The feel was slightly creamy and dry.
Tastes are of coffee, berry and earth with hints of orange and toasted biscuit. The wheat tastes come through but a chocolate malt taste dominates them and gets stronger and more predominant as the beer warms.
The finish is a bitter dryness.
Not a bad brew but I think you could probably find a better example of a dunkel style beer, a King Brewery Dark comes to mind.

Black coffee color with a clumpy tan head and a thick lace that lasts.
Almost no aroma except for a slight citrus and earth smell.
Creamy mouth feel with a very strong earth taste with citrus undertones on the back of the tongue. Dry finish and the citrus becomes very strong as it warms.
Not a bad beer.

Pours so dark it's almost black with a thick creamy off white head.
Slight earthy and bread aroma, but very very slight.
Creamy sweet and sour taste to start with a citrus tingle in the middle and a very strong cream mouth feel at the end.
Nice beer this!

Dark chocolate in color - cloudy in appearance. Slightly creamy with a hint of effervescence.
Finish is citrus, earthiness in odor and flavor.
I like this and would drink this beer any time. It would be a a great session beer.
As the beer warms slight chocolate taste comes through!
