Dark chocolate in color - cloudy in appearance. Slightly creamy with a hint of effervescence.
Finish is citrus, earthiness in odor and flavor.
I like this and would drink this beer any time. It would be a a great session beer.
As the beer warms slight chocolate taste comes through!

Southern Tier - Imperial Gemini

Pours a slightly cloudy peach colour with a full creamy and lasting off white head.
Aroma of fruit, berries and peach. Hints of pine and grapefruit with a touch of earth.
Feel is nice and full, creamy and rich.
Taste is lovely. A solid slightly sweet malt base with a touch of chocolate and malted milk. Then comes a fresh and bright citrus hop taste, lot's of grapefruit and pine resin. Hints of peach and dark berries are all through the taste.
The finish is a bit dry, the grapefruit and pine linger nicely and the light sweet notes remain but my mouth is left clean and ready for another sip.
A very nice beer, the high alcohol content can be dangerous in this one because it is not noticeable.
I like it a lot. Glad I have more tucked away.

Beer Quote of the day

Why is American beer served cold? So you can tell it from urine.

(Not true anymore, thankfully.)
