BEER is GOOD!
About Bruce Ticknor
Fuller's London Porter
Fuller's London Porter
A thin tan coloured head on a very dark garnet red coloured beer.
The aroma is of coffee or chocolate with some sweet berry or raisin hints.
The feel is very full, rounded, rich, and creamy.
Taste is strongly "roasted and toasted". A flavour of citrus starts the profile, leading quickly into the rich, roasted coffee or bitter chocolate tastes. Some nut tastes hide in the background and the citrus tingle lingers on the sides of the tongue to compliment the roasted malt tastes.
Very nice, a good porter and a nice Christmas treat.

Christoffel Dry Hopped Nobel
Very cloudy pale orange color with a thick white clumpy head that lasts and lasts.
Aroma is citrus, some berries and earth with a bit of sourness.
Very rich creamy mouth feel.
Instant grapefruit hit followed by some earthiness and a hint of banana and some orange pith bitterness. As it warms it gains in complexity. The grapefruit is still there but now I'm getting some more earth and a kind of clover honey aftertaste. The finish is a definite hop dryness that just begs for more.
Excellent brew this.
