BEER is GOOD!

Great Lakes Brewery - Crazy Canuck Pale Ale
Pours a clear light copper colour with a huge and lasting white head.
Aroma of pine resin and grapefruit with a hint of honey.
Mouthfeel is quite full and rich, sparkling and a touch dry. Very nice.
Taste is all about the hops, strong pine and grapefruit tastes but with enough malt body for the hops to ride on, quite a bitter beer and more of an American style IPA than a simple Pale ale.
Still, this is not a total hop bomb, their is a good solid honey and brown sugar flavour lurking just under the hops and it has the strength to stand up to the bitterness.
A good patio beer for the summer if we ever actually get a summer.

Pleasant smoky aroma. Have never come across a smell like that in an ale. Flowery with a bit of citrus flavor. Nice clean bitter after taste. Another great blend of hops and malt, (or bitter and sweet). All in all another great beer, not quite as good a blend as the Fullers ESB.
This is what Fuller's has to say about this beer:
"London Pride is a smooth and astonishingly complex beer, which has a distinctive malty base complemented by a rich balance of well developed hop flavours from the target, challenger and northdown varieties in the brew. At 4.1% a.b.v in cask (4.7% a.b.v in bottles)London Pride is an ideal session-strength premium ale."
