Great Lakes Brewery Pumpkin Ale
Great Lakes Brewery Pumpkin Ale
Dark amber in color.
More mellow than Post Road Pumpkin Ale. Hops flavor is not noticeable. Spices are present but do not linger. I like this one a lot as well as the other pumpkin ale, (Post Road), but for different reasons. Flavors of spices and hops are well blended with a wonderful lingering after taste.

Great Lakes Brewery Pumpkin Ale
Amber to red in color with a clumpy head that disappeared rapidly.
Almost no aroma, just a hint of cloves.
Cloves, cinnamon and just a hint of pumpkin. Slight sour aftertaste that isn't all that unpleasant.
I'm glad I have a couple more of these in the fridge.
We are strong supporters of Ontario Craft Brewers. Ask for them at your local LCBO in Ontario or better yet, visit one or all of their breweries. You will be glad you did.

Great Lakes Brewery Pumpkin Ale
Light copper color with a clumpy off white head.
Slight cinnamon and citrus aroma.
Very strong citrus flavor in this beer with undertones of cinnamon. Creamy mouth feel yet it dries out the mouth in the finish. Alcohol comes through in the finish as well but in a pleasant way.
These Craft Brewers are impressing me more and more with the fine beers they brew.

Great Lakes Brewery Pumpkin Ale
Pours a slightly cloudy amber with a full and lasting, slightly off-white head.
Aroma is pronounced, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Feel is nicely creamy.
Taste is nutmeg and cloves with a solid malt base and a light bitter finish. Very nice, Pumpkin pie taste with hints of chocolate and caramel. The light bitter finish adds a lot to it and cleans your mouth for another taste.
I like this one.
