BEER is GOOD!

Harveys Porter
A thick but short lived dark tan coloured head on a nearly black beer. Some red highlights glow through when held to the light. It's a good looking and appetizing beer.
The aroma is earthy with dough, berry and citrus smells, coffee and molasses aromas come through as it warms a bit.
The mouthfeel is very rich, creamy, and full while the tastes start off with burnt coffee beans and blackberries. There is a very light bitterness but it seems to be just enough because the tastes are not too sweet, nor is the coffee overwhelming.
The beer has a very light berry and citrus finish which becomes more pronounced as it warms.
This is a great smooth blend and would make a great session beer. Unfortunately I only had two of them so I couldn't properly test this theory.
