Heritage Black Currant Rye Beer
Very deep red color with short lived tan head.
Not much aroma, just some berries.
Thin mouth feel which I expected from the pour.
Currant is right up front with a citrus middle and a sparkling drying finish.
Heritage makes better but It's nice to see them experimenting.

Pleasant smoky aroma. Have never come across a smell like that in an ale. Flowery with a bit of citrus flavor. Nice clean bitter after taste. Another great blend of hops and malt, (or bitter and sweet). All in all another great beer, not quite as good a blend as the Fullers ESB.
