Hitachino Nest White Ale
Hitachino Nest White Ale
Pours very pale and cloudy yellow with a full but quickly receding white head.
Aroma of spices, banana and vanilla.
Feel is nicely full and rich, not watery at all.
Taste is very interesting, first hit is a lot of spices, black pepper, hints of clove and cardamon, followed by light banana and vanilla flavours. All this is laid on top of a nice bread dough base with a finish of bright lemon citrus.
Very refreshing and an excellent patio beer on this first really warm spring weekend day of the year.
Going back to the patio now, with another of these.

Hitachino Nest White Ale A pale yellow color with a clumpy but short lived head. Spices and banana are all I can detect in the aroma. Full rich creamy mouth feel. This is nice. Lots of spice and banana with some hints of pepper. Easy drinking but also very flavorfull. I wish I had more but alas that is not to be with Japan still in shambles.
