BEER is GOOD!

Hockley Valley Stout
Hockley Valley Stout
1 Liter swing top bottle.
A thick creamy tan coloured head on a very dark beer. Almost black with hints of red.
The aroma is of roasted coffee, chocolate, licorice and citrus.
It has a very pleasant thick and creamy feel in the mouth while the taste is of roasted coffee, a touch of chocolate, some citrus and a bit of licorice with just a hint of berry.
This is a great blend, all the tastes meld together nicely with enough hops to give a pleasant bitterness to the finish.
I will buy this one again often, in fact, I wish I had more now.

Hitachino Nest White Ale A pale yellow color with a clumpy but short lived head. Spices and banana are all I can detect in the aroma. Full rich creamy mouth feel. This is nice. Lots of spice and banana with some hints of pepper. Easy drinking but also very flavorfull. I wish I had more but alas that is not to be with Japan still in shambles.
