Hogs Back Brewery - Traditional English Ale (T.E.A.)

Pours a slightly cloudy red/copper colour with a thin but lasting white head. Very attractive in the glass.
Aroma is earthy and fresh somehow, a bit floral.
Feel is only medium rich, some watery aspects but it finishes much creamier than it starts. Don't ask me how, that's just how it seems to me.
The taste is quite complex and long lasting. It starts with an earthiness and is quickly followed by a dark fruit or raisin taste and then by a floral bitter hop note. The aftertaste also lingers a long time and has the dark fruit or raisin tastes and the lingering floral and earthy tastes.
I'd drink this one anytime, the complexity alone makes it worth sampling and enjoyng.

I sampled this one yesterday

I sampled this one yesterday as well. I have a full review on my blog. when I tasted it the fruit flavour I received was muskmelon then honey! Great review on this one!

Hogs Back Brewery - Traditional English Ale (T.E.A.)

Cloudy pour. Copper, reddish color with very little head.
Aroma is earth and perhaps new mown lawn.
Full, rich mouth feel.
Strong citrus start with clean hoppiness. The middle is all about the creaminess and a hint of fruit and earth. It finishes with with the hops again coming into the fore.
I like this very much. It is also CAMRA aapproved. I can see why.
