Holsten Premium Lager

A yellow beer with a very thin short lived white head.
The aroma is very faint, perhaps a bit earthy but not much else.

Feel is fairly thin, maybe just a bit creamy.
Earthy tastes, some honey and a light bitterness. A hint of flowers ans some faint dough tastes.

Not much to this one, a bit more taste than North American mainstream and I like the earthy undertones but I certainly wont go looking for this again.

Trailhead Premium Lager

Pours amber cloudy much like a wheat beer with a thin white head.
Very slight citrus aroma and not much of that.
Very, very mild flavor. An earthy taste with just a hint of citrus but not much else. I could drink a gallon of this which is not a good thing when I am looking for a beer with some deep flavor. It's crisp and clean, but then again so are all the main stream beers. I am slightly disappointed, I expected more from a Craft Brewery.

We are strong supporters of Ontario Craft Brewers. Ask for them at your local LCBO in Ontario or better yet, visit one or all of their breweries. You will be glad you did.
