Hop Back Summer Lightning

A fairly light amber colour with a coarse, thick, white head which reduces fairly quickly but leaves a medium and coarse cap.
The aroma is of herbal hops with a hint of citrus.
Feel is rich and creamy with a drying presence.
The taste is actually pretty well balanced with some decent biscuity malt forming the base and a fairly light and refreshing herbal hop presence on top.
Easy to drink light tasting English ale No bad habits, just a good old fashioned session ale.
5% is a touch strong for English Ales nowadays, but I could drink this stuff by the gallon. It's just that there is nothing special about it at all.

Hop Back Summer Lightning

Nice golden color. Quite cloudy.
Not much aroma except hops and a tease of citrus.
First taste is hops. Not much of a middle but it has a mild bitter after taste.
Does a good job of quenching my thirst but it's really nothing exceptional. This is just an average beer, but better than the main stream crud.

Cloudy amber with a medium white head.
No aroma to speak of.
Earthy flavor with a hint of citrus a bit of biscuit and dough.
Not bad at all.
