BEER is GOOD!
About murraybula
Howe Sound, Devil's Elbow India Pale Ale
Nice amber colour, if at fridge temperature quite hazy, but at the proper temperature just a very slight haze.
A bit of peppery spicy nose, some fruit with toasted malt in the background
Has fairly high carbonation medium sized bubbles, gives a large head when poured, settling down to medium fine bubbles, lice lace on the glass. The head last quite long.
Do not serve it too cold or the body and malt are over welmed by the high hopping.
bitter taste, with sweet malt undertones, some fruitiness.
Bitter after taste, with some background sweetness with a a long dry lingering finish.
Quite a bitter beer overall, but seems quite close to style.
The large 1 litre bottle definitely gave me a lot to taste.
When I first tasted it I thought it was quite out of balance, but it was at fridge temperature. This is quite a good beer at a bit warmer temperature.

Hitachino Nest White Ale A pale yellow color with a clumpy but short lived head. Spices and banana are all I can detect in the aroma. Full rich creamy mouth feel. This is nice. Lots of spice and banana with some hints of pepper. Easy drinking but also very flavorfull. I wish I had more but alas that is not to be with Japan still in shambles.
