Innis and Gunn Oak Aged Beer

This is a brew with a unique flavour. I don't have the ability to describe, in the nomenclature of 'tasters", noting all the nuances and subtleties of palate that you may experience, but I know what I like. This beer is a GREAT.
For someone like myself, who is trying to develop the ability to convey to others what something tastes like, I will describe it in the one word that represents its dominant characteristic.......... "TOFFEE".
The "toffee" isn't overpowering but it is definitely recognizable and gives me a benchmark for future descriptives.
At $3.50 a bottle you should buy two. Drink one, comment here then send the other one to me and I will critique your assessment.

Firefighter 101.
Put the wet stuff on the red stuff.

INNIS and GUNN

Great beer, one of the best ive tasted, great on a hot day, not a beer snob but you can taste the different flavors!! 5 out 0f 5

Beer Quote of the day

For drink, there was beer which was very strong when not mingled with water, but was agreeable to those who were used to it.

— Xenophon
