Innis & Gunn - Highland Cask
Dark copper color with a thick but short lived head. Very little lacing in the glass.
Carmel, carmel and more carmel. Great aroma for a butterscotch fanatic like me.
Full rich creamy mouth feel.
Carmel in the taste as well with just a hint of alcohol, (well, duh!), and just a hit of citrus at the end, but not enough to cleanse the palate for more. Just add some more hops please. Other than that this is a smooth easy drinking libation.

Hitachino Nest White Ale A pale yellow color with a clumpy but short lived head. Spices and banana are all I can detect in the aroma. Full rich creamy mouth feel. This is nice. Lots of spice and banana with some hints of pepper. Easy drinking but also very flavorfull. I wish I had more but alas that is not to be with Japan still in shambles.
