BEER is GOOD!
About Bruce Ticknor
Iron Duke Strong Ale
Iron Duke Strong Ale
A nice slightly tan coloured head which quickly reduces to a thin ring.
This beer is a very dark copper or walnut colour with an aroma of chocolate, citrus, berries and a hint of alcohol which you would expect from it's 6.5% content.
The first taste is of sparkling citrus followed by chocolate or creamy coffee.
The texture is full and creamy on the tongue.
The finish is chocolate or roast coffee but the lingering aftertaste is more of citrus and berry.
This beer is a very nice blend with enough hops to liven everything up and create a highly drinkable beer while the citrus aftertaste makes you want another.
I will buy this one again often.

Iron Duke Strong Ale
Dark red pour with a thick off white head that was gone rather quickly.
Aroma is chocolate, coffee and a hint of citrus.
Mouth feel is rich and creamy.
Intense flavors. There's chocolate and coffee as well as some berry, but it finishes crisp and clean with a citrus hop kick.
This could become one of my favorites if it were readily avaiable.
