This is a keeper.
A thick, smooth tan coloured head which forms slightly after the pour. The brew is black as pitch and looks full and rich.

Aroma has a light sourness and a host of roasted barley smells. There is some coffee and chocolate along with a dark berry aroma.
The feel is very rich, creamy, round and full.
Tastes are roasted coffee and black berries with some creamy chocolate and a lovely bright and light citrus tingle. I found some honey and sweet malt syrup tastes underneath the main flavours and the finish was great, lots of roasted barley tastes with a nice citrus overlay.

This is a great beer. I am trying out a corned beef recipe this evening and I am saving one of these to have with it.

Well done on this one.

Neat-oh! This pours chocolate dark with a semi-sweet chocolate head.
Aroma is of earth and citrus with some mould thrown in.
First taste is of citrus, coffee and bitter chocolate. In the middle is a nice creaminess with a slight citrus after bite which stays till the end. As it warms the citrus comes on really strong. Almost like eating a grapefruit without a shot of sugar. I like it. This is a fine beer.

We are strong supporters of Ontario Craft Brewers. Ask for them at your local LCBO in Ontario or better yet, visit one or all of their breweries. You will be glad you did.
