K.L.B. Nut Brown Ale
A very dark colour leaving a brownish tinge to the head, A full creamy, smooth texture.
Enough hops to give a slight bitterness and dryness to the mouth, Enough to nicely offset some of the sweetness in the taste.
The taste is quite mild, a slight licorice aroma, a coffee, chocolate and licorice middle.
The coffee and chocolate are predominant as it finishes.
The various tastes seem to become more pronounced as it warms a bit.

Hitachino Nest White Ale A pale yellow color with a clumpy but short lived head. Spices and banana are all I can detect in the aroma. Full rich creamy mouth feel. This is nice. Lots of spice and banana with some hints of pepper. Easy drinking but also very flavorfull. I wish I had more but alas that is not to be with Japan still in shambles.
